Question How large is the "adjacent area" in skills anyway?

Many skills have an area effect which is only described as the "Adjacent area" around the target. Does anyone know how large this area is? Is it the same for all skills, or is it different for different skills?

For example, I am particularly wondering about how large the adjacent area is for 'Mark of Pain'.

Thank You.

Seems to be different for different skills: It is rather large for Eruption and the earth Ward spells. Seems to be small for things like Crystal Wave and Aftershock and Inferno.

Any Shout 39 feet

It all depends. If you're throwing the skill the answer is: "not large enough". If the skill is being thrown at your party, the answer is: "too large".

according to the guide, the aggro circle is 88 feet (can't remember if that's diameter or radius, I'll look when I get home this evening). Overall though, figure your avg step in the game as being about 3-4 feet and work it out from there.

88 feet must be a radius, but it seems a little large because wands and some bows supposedly have a range of 80' and can hit things just out of the aggro range on pretty flat ground.

Is there a listing anywhere of the ranges of all of the spells? I know that some of my favorite starter spells (ex: Firestorm, Life siphon) can hit just outside that aggro circle as well.

Meteror Shower and Fire storm arn't. I use them when out of the aggro of a monster all the time. It's pretty close but they are closer to 95-100 feet on those 2 spells.

BTW Inferno has the worst effect area.
